Heating Mats Without Accessories – The Mat Alone, Your Choice of Control

TERMOFOL heating mats without accessories are designed for anyone who already has a thermostat or wants to choose one independently of the mat. They are also ideal for extending an existing installation and for installers who assemble the system from their own components.

Proven Design

The mat consists of a 3.6 mm twin-core heating cable attached to a self-adhesive fibreglass mesh. Mounting strips keep the cable at a constant spacing, and the 2 m power lead makes it easy to connect to the thermostat.

Installed Directly Under Tiles

The mat is laid on a prepared subfloor and embedded in a layer of flexible tile adhesive, with no additional screed. When adjusting the shape, you can cut the mesh – but never the heating cable.

Tiles Warm Up Quickly

The heating cable lies just beneath the floor covering, so the tiles warm up quickly – the first warmth can be felt after about 15 minutes. A convenient solution for bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and other rooms finished with tiles or stone.

Choosing the Right Mat

All mats have an output of 150 W/m² and a width of 50 cm, with areas from 0.5 to 20 m². Choose the mat according to the area you want to heat, not the total floor area of the room – leave out areas under fixed furniture and keep about 10 cm from the walls. A thermostat with a floor sensor is required for control.

Choosing the right heating mat is more important than many investors realize. The selection of an appropriate heating mat should not be based solely on the area of the room. That is why a well-chosen underfloor heating system operates comfortably, efficiently, and energy-saving for many years […]

Today, from the market perspective, it is clear that their role has significantly changed. Investors increasingly view electric underfloor heating as a conscious element of modern construction, rather than just a comfortable addition.
