Example of a heating mat installation layout in a bathroom:
Components of the electric heating system:
1 – Heating mat
2 – Temperature sensor
3 – Thermostat
Rules to follow during installation
A – The floor temperature sensor is installed in a protective conduit within a groove, parallel to the heating conductors. The end of the temperature sensor is located halfway across the width of the heating mat, which guarantees a correct temperature reading.
B – An example of changing the direction in which the heating mat is laid by cutting the backing mesh.
C – Correct distances from fixed fittings have been maintained.
D – Correct distances from bathroom fixtures have been maintained.
Following the above example will help you install the heating mat correctly and protect you from the most common mistakes made during installation.
