Mrs. Katarzyna's dream of having her own winter terrace has become a reality. The winter garden is not just a place for relaxation, but a true home conservatory where nature intertwines with modernity. The key to a year-round space full of charm is, of course, its effective heating.
The Winter Garden – Mrs. Katarzyna's Glass Nook
Mrs. Katarzyna, a lover of greenery and garden aesthetics, set herself an ambitious task: to create a winter terrace that would not only enchant the household members and guests but also be a functional space throughout the year. Thanks to innovative solutions from the company Termofol, the winter garden is now a true oasis of peace and beauty, combining nature with modernity, and above all, free from problems associated with the impending cold.
The first step in the transformation of Mrs. Katarzyna's winter terrace was to develop a concept for creating a year-round winter garden. As is well known, the investment requires efficient planning of the heating. Without an effective heat source, no winter garden can exist. Equally important is the cost-effectiveness of the chosen heating system.
The question then arose: how to heat the winter garden? The glass roof and walls do act somewhat like a lens, allowing for a slightly higher temperature inside, but this is definitely insufficient for such a space.
Initially, Mrs. Katarzyna considered traditional heating systems, but their complicated installation and high operating costs prompted her to search for alternative solutions. Termofol infrared heating seemed to be an innovative option that would meet all her expectations.
“At first, I was very skeptical when it came to infrared. Just the word radiation evoked not-so-good associations in me. However, I started looking for information on the subject and it turned out that the devil is not as scary as he is painted” – says Mrs. Katarzyna.
It's hard to disagree with the client. Infrared radiation, although it may sound absurd at first, is indeed very natural. The same infrared waves reach us from the Sun.
“While searching for information about infrared heating, I came across a lot of misconceptions. I even started to wonder if infrared really heats. Ultimately, the example of a campfire spoke to me. When I stand close to a campfire, I see the light that falls from it and feel the warmth. When I move away, I can still see the glow, but I no longer feel the heat. It is precisely the infrared emitted from the fire that warms us” – recounts Mrs. Katarzyna.

Heating the Winter Garden
The decision to choose heating foil based on infrared technology was driven not only by efficiency but also by Mrs. Katarzyna's ecological approach. Termofol provides warmth with its products, but also cares about minimizing energy consumption, which perfectly fits into the philosophy of sustainable living that Mrs. Katarzyna is devoted to.
“I could have invested in standard heating. Buy some heaters or something similar, but I didn't want to use too much electricity. I try to live in harmony with nature and I care about not unnecessarily emitting harmful substances into the atmosphere. That's why these heating foils seemed to me the best option, as they are a natural source of heat” – she summarizes.
Designing the glass winter garden began. Mrs. Katarzyna planned the space to create a harmonious environment where plants could bloom all year round. Heating with Termofol infrared foils allowed her to achieve optimal temperature, regardless of the season. Mrs. Katarzyna also chose infrared for another reason. As an avid gardener, she knows well that plants need the most natural conditions.
“I try to avoid artificial fertilizers and other chemicals. And since the radiation from the heating foils is essentially the same as from the Sun, it is the ideal solution for me” – says Mrs. Katarzyna.
And how did the purchase of infrared heating for the home conservatory look? It turned out to be simpler than one might think.
“I called the company, where a friendly gentleman explained to me what I should do to simplify the purchase and installation process. In my case, it was less complicated because the winter garden is rectangular, so there was no need to create a detailed project. The company estimated everything – including installation. I particularly cared about the latter, as I certainly wouldn't be able to install everything myself” – recounts our client.
She was quite surprised by the speed with which the heating foil is installed. The size of the room was small, about 20 m2, but the Termofol team completed their work in just half a day.
“After a few hours, the gentlemen announced that everything was ready, the system was working, and the floor could already be laid. I couldn't believe it, but I saw the image on their special camera and really felt the warmth. It's simply amazing that such a thin foil can heat my winter terrace” – said the delighted client.
Home Conservatories – Year-Round Relaxation Spaces
After the construction work was completed, Mrs. Katarzyna's winter terrace became a magical place. The plants bloomed in full splendor, and the atmosphere was saturated with warmth generated by the heating foils. Termofol turned out to be a perfect choice, providing comfort that Mrs. Katarzyna had not experienced before.
Thanks to infrared heating foils, the winter terrace is a space where even on the coldest days, one can enjoy the beauty of greenery. Heating the winter garden has become easy and efficient, allowing it to be used at any time of the year and day.
By using infrared heating foils, Mrs. Katarzyna now enjoys her dream place for rest and relaxation, regardless of the weather outside. The winter terrace is always warm and cozy, while not generating additional costs.
Heating the winter garden with Termofol infrared heating foils has exceeded the client's wildest expectations. Her home conservatory is a dream come true, but also a source of inspiration for other gardening enthusiasts. Thanks to the innovative solutions from Termofol, Mrs. Katarzyna is convinced that every winter garden can be not only beautiful but also incredibly functional.
